I love Alpaca and blending it with Corriedale is awesome it makes a soft strong yarn that is fun to crochet with :) Here I used white alpaca and dark rainbow colors and the blending of them makes a soft lighter shade that looks frosted, I just love it!

More of my tree tomatoes

OK these are golden plum tomatoes and are at the side of the garden so do not have a wall to grow up like the cherry tomatoes that grow up the side of the garden shed! These are just growing straight up like a tree, my hand in the one picture is at 5 feet, so you can see these are way over 6 foot and I get 10-12 ripe tomatoes a day off these LOVE that! I soon will be drying and saving seeds, if anyone would like some just contact me at: cintia_morrowind@yahoo.com I can send you 25 seeds for .75 C :o) these are super good to eat or make soup or sauce !

Ok here is my tiny cherry variety tomato plant Ssh he thinks he is a tree measures 5.5 feet tall and growing LOL I love this plant I get 8-10 small tomatoes a day off it :o)Very Yummy!

I started with this cool, soft, yearling mohair, in natural creamy off white, and added some that had been dyed a pretty purple.

To that I had some yellow sparkle so added it in as well. The combination was super!

I made the roving by laying a hand drafted section down and layering the other 2 colors on top of it.

I then hand rolled them to create the roving and rolled it up as I went.
Then spun it up on my little drop spindle for a yarn I just love!

Hey all you felters do you end up with little sections left over? I always do, so now I am thinking up new ways to use them!
Here is a cool bracelet I made from some leftover, red, pollypay felted wool, a button, thread, crochet flower, and beads. Sweet eh?

I started with Shetland wool roving and made the soles, felted them and then painted designs on the bottom out of non-toxic, washable, fabric paint, to make them non slip! Then set them aside to dry.
Later I will start the sides and finish the tops~

Well today I made a flower Fairy head piece with Spanish moss, silk flowers, silk leaves and some fun colored eyelash yarn. I think it turned out pretty good! All items but the moss were recycled from other crafts I had left over, or were needing new life~:o)~*
